1.Description of Red Onion: 

Origin:

July - September: Shandong 

September - Next March: Gansu

August - September: Northeast

Nice skin color, excellent in ball shape, without roots and soil, natural hue, moderate size, no crack

2.Physical Description: 

Size: 3-4cm, 5-7cm,7-9cm

Color: Min. 99% onion of fine regular red color.

Taste and flavour: typical of onion, sound, ripe onion without any other off-odor.

Broken-damaged squashed and misshapen fruits: Max 1-2piece per bag or carton

3.Storage:

We have regular customers, so storage onion all the year.

5.Packing:

(1) Pack size: 10kg/20kg mesh bag or carton 

(2) Pack type: 

Mesh bag: export quality standard, with logo or not 

Carton: Export quality standard, no nails, flaps are to be sealed with self-adhesive freezer stable tape, the cartons is waterproof, new polythene food grade liner.

(3) Logo/Labeling: Normal one includes: Product Description, Country of Origin, Weight, Product Date(dd-mm-yy), Best Before date.

 

6.Storage and shelf life conditions:

Products must be stored at 0~+1°C to maintain necessary condition and attain a shelf life of 90-120 days in storage.
